img_4194I received the AMZDeal Mini Dehumidifier, which I have decided to review. If you don’t know what a dehumidifier is, it is an appliance that decreases the humidity in the air. This could help health with things such as dust mites, mould and other allergies. Mr J and I often wake up with stuffy noses and my asthma is a pain sometimes, so I decided that I’d give a dehumidifier a go to see if it helps in any way.

What’s In The Box:

  • 1x AMZDeal Mini Dehumidifier
  • 1x Adapter
  • User manual

img_4195The dehumidifier is white with a frosted blue window into the water tank and black writing for the company logo. There is a switch that turns the dehumidifier on and off and two lights. A green light is on when the dehumidifier is switched on and the second one lights up yellow when the tank is full and needs to be emptied. Once the yellow light switches on, the dehumidifier automatically turns itself off. The dehumidifier is roughly 9 inches in height, 6 inches in width and 5 inches in depth.

img_4197The tank is simply removed by sliding it out of the dehumidifier unit and can easily slide back in too. To empty the tank, you have to open the small, black plug in the back left corner of the tank. The tank holds up to 500ml of water and the dehumidifier can take roughly 250ml of moisture from the air per day. I’d been running mine for roughly 9 hours a day for 4 days and I haven’t taken 250ml of moisture yet. Obviously, the more moisture that is in the air, the quicker the tank fills up. I usually start the dehumidifier at about 8am to clear any condensation and moisture that has built up overnight. As this is a mini dehumidifier, the application area is roughly 10-20 metres squared.

img_4199The dehumidifier isn’t very loud. There is ultra-quiet technology in place to ensure the system runs quietly.

I’m really happy with this dehumidifier. It works well; it is very efficient and quiet and lightweight in order to be portable around the home. Mine has spent all of its time in our living room but can easily be used everywhere in the home. I have to say that I would recommend this mini dehumidifier if anyone is looking for an efficient, portable option.

The AMZDeal Mini Dehumidifier is currently on sale at Amazon UK for £22.99 with a RRP of £59.99.

I’d love to hear your opinions. Feel free to get in touch.

Best Wishes
