I’ve been a busy bee the past few months but I haven’t been as organised as I hoped I would be. I’ve decided to put together this to do list for 2018, which I hope to stick to I might add. You may see a couple of items on this list from my previous list I made in 2016… Oops!
Prepare new nail polish collections – I’ve got a fair few ideas for new polish collections but now I need to put my ideas into bottles and not just on paper. I can’t wait to see how they turn out.
Wedding planning – Mr J and I have been together for 12 years now and I’ve basically had ideas about our wedding for years. I’ve got boards on Pinterest full of wedding related things and a folder full at home. All that needs doing now is checking what’s available at the time, book and plan the extras I can’t start to plan until we have a date. I’m so excited for this one.
Rearrange our furniture – This is something that has been on a to do list since before I last posted a to do list in 2016 but Mr J and I havent gotten around to it yet. After my nan passed away, I inherited her old display cabinet which was my great nans before that. To put this in our living room, Mr J moved our desk and computer into our bedroom. Now, we want to take another piece of furniture out of our living room in order to put the display cabinet in its place and move the desk back into the spot it started in. I know, it’s so much work but its worth it. I’ve been waiting to make the desk my little blogging office space.
Get into a health and fitness weight loss plan – Mr J and I are planning on starting a health and fitness weight loss plan. We’re hoping to plan a schedule for exercising as well as meal plans and tracking our progress. This is definitely something is of high priority on the to-do list. I’m ashamed to admit, I’m not comfortable in my own body anymore so I really want to get back to when I felt good about myself and my asthma wasn’t so much of an issue.
Blog post plan – I’ve got so many
draft posts half-finished, I really should get them completed. This on for example has been sitting as a draft for a month! I want to improve my blog as much as I can over the next year so I think getting into planning blog posts better would help with that. I must invest in a notebook specific for blogging.
Get a diary/planner and start getting more organised – I’m usually so much more organised than I seemed to have been of late. I definitely think that getting into a routine with a diary/planner is something that would do me good now I have a life, blogging and business to plan for.
Cut out the junk food – This really coincides with getting into a health and fitness plan. Anyone who knows me knows that one thing I love is a good Chinese takeaway * duck chow mein from my local Lai Do is amazing! * As much as I love it, its something I really need to cut down on, just as much as crisps, chocolate and any other junk food.
There you have it. 6 things on my to-do list. It may not look like much, but it’s definitely a lot for me. Fingers crossed I can complete it all before Christmas.
Feel free to get in touch.
