September became a bit different for Mr J and I in terms of gaming. We’ve finally got us an Xbox One! I know, we’re behind with getting one but we focused on the PS4. The Xbox One was on a deal on Amazon at the time and it was a bargain so we ordered one (the Xbox One S 1TB Minecraft bundle) and ordered a few games to with it.
Here’s the September edition of What I’ve Been Playing.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (PS4 and PSVita)
I haven’t been able to help myself. I’ve kept coming back to this all throughout September even though I really wanted to start playing something new. I love the game; the story is brilliant and I like how aesthetically appealing it is. It’s been so much fun playing it on nightmare mode too. I don’t tend to play games on a level as high as this but it’s been a really good challenge for me.
Tales Of Berseria
I didn’t play Tales Of Berseria much through September because of playing other things but I did carry on a little between games. Just a few random battles here and there, nothing really major.
The Sims 3
I’ve still been enjoying playing The Sims 3. I decided to create another character in a different town with a new job! I registered my character as a self-employed inventor. It’s something I hadn’t done before in the game and when the create 3 monsters life time ambition popped up I thought “hey, why not?”
Do you know, my sims house was burgled. The burglar walked straight past my expensive TV and computer and headed straight for my tumble dryer… Madness!
Ni No Kuni II
I’ve seen many comments about how good Ni No Kuni II is so when I was trying to pick out a new game for me to play, Mr J’s digital copy of Ni No Kuni stuck out. He told me he thought I’d enjoy it so I gave it a go. Suffice to say, I loved it! I started it on my father in laws console when we visited but totally forgot to upload my save data to my online storage for me to play when I got home. I’d just got to set up the kingdom at that point so now I’ve started again on my own console.
What games did you play in September? I’d love to hear from you.
